A Song Dedicated to Me

I couldn't believe it, but a real musician has dedicated a song to me! He wrote it just a few weeks ago, hasn't even posted it to his MySpace page yet. Then he found me via this blog a few days ago, and realized that the song and I are a match, so he dedicated it to me. Both he and his lady have both told me that the song seemed as if it was meant to find me. :-)
.
You can read the lyrics and listen to the song with this link......

Above the lyrics, in the green box, click by where it says "play".

.
His name is Terry Alan Wade. Here is his site, where you can read about him and hear his other songs:

.
It's a great, slow, kind, country song. Very nice! He's still trying to get it published, or get signed to a label, so if anyone out there is looking to sign someone, look this guy up.
.
He and I have emailed back and forth this weekend. Here's part of what he wrote me:
.
"Would like to dedicate the song to you, and kind of make it your song in a sense. Who knows, maybe something good can come out of people hearing it. If it makes them aware of the condition you have and others learn from it I think it will be a good thing. If nothing else, maybe people will realize that folks who have difficulties: have, want and need all the same things everyone else does, they just have a heavier load to carry as they pursue them."
.
Isn't that sweet? He's a great guy, very thoughtful. And I like that the song isn't about lots of sympathy or pity, but is saying that she's a regular person, just with a heavier load. I am truly honored to be asked to be the person that this song describes. It really means a lot to me. It's so wonderful!
